Series Static Voltage Regulator With the advances in power Electronics, Static Voltage Regular (SVR)
has emerged as a new technology to provide ride through support for
crucial facilities in the event of transient under voltage / over
voltage conditions. The SVR through the use of its static tap changer
regulates the voltage to its present level i.e. 220 volts +- 5%. Unlike
conventional load top changers, which are equipped to respond
instantaneously by selecting the appropriate tap on a sub cycle basic,
without the need to progress through a series of lower voltage top.
The simplicity of this design results in the high efficiency and
robustness if the SVR. With strategic combination of advanced power
electronic and microprocessor, high performance and high correction
speed of the SVR are guaranteed.
Additional Isolation Transformer and RFI/EMI filters constitute a high
level spike suppression system which further protect your equipment by
virtually eliminating any transient in the distribution network.
